Rev. Meg Hoffman

Pastor

I am from Colonial Heights, Virginia, a suburb of Richmond and the home of the world’s largest Arby’s.  I moved to Chapel Hill in 2013 for a job as an elementary Gifted Specialist and have been in the area ever since.  I live with my husband Matt and my two kids (James and Sam) in a 100+ year old house in Hillsborough, and my favorite places to hang out in Durham are Duke Gardens or the Scrap Exchange with the family (or for a rare treat, by myself).

One random fact that you should know about me is that I have a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and am a total curriculum nerd.  When I’m not in Oak Church’s Godly Play rooms, I love to read, work in my garden, and explore the natural beauty in our area.  If you’d like to talk about the importance of children in God’s Kingdom work, then I’m your person.
