Steering Group Member (ex officio)
I am from Concord, North Carolina, aka Sundrop country. I moved to Durham in 2015 after graduating from NC State University and have been here ever since. I live with my husband James and our little gray cat Jiji, and my favorite place to hang out in Durham is in the lobby of the Durham Hotel for coffee service or at Turtle Hole with a beloved friend.
One random fact that you should know about me is that I keep cookbooks next to my bed to read like novels– a habit learned from my mother. When I’m not in Oak Church’s Godly Play room or hovering over the potluck line (what Instant Pot glory do we have in store today?!), I love to dance, sew, take on endless DIY projects, and watch rom-coms .
