Elder Team Member (Chair)
I am from Fernandina Beach, FL, the home of the Amelia Island Shrimp Festival. I moved to Durham in 2019 for graduate studies at Duke Divinity School and have been here ever since. I live with my wife Jessica and our Carolina Dog, Peanut, and my favorite place to hang out in Durham is anywhere with good food and good friends. One random fact that you should know about me is that I can speak/read three languages (but two of the three are dead languages, so does that really count?).
When I’m not in the sound booth at Oak Church, I love to go hiking with my dog, discover new recipes and cooking techniques, and dream about all of the woodworking projects I’ll be able to do when I’m free from apartment living.
