I am originally from Cary, aka suburbia or the center of everything beige. I moved back to Durham in 2010 after getting married to be closer to family and have been here ever since. I live with a family of incredible musicians: my wife Kristin, daughter Layla, son Jackson, and daughter Cora. My favorite place to hang out in Durham is anywhere along the Eno River. One random fact that you should know about me is that I like hunting mushrooms.

When I’m not at Oak Church’s potluck or supporting Godly play, I love to mountain bike, hike, and spend time at the beach. I work in mental health, doing mostly couples and family counseling, so if you ever need help finding resources, or referral for a therapist, let me know, I can point you in a direction. Oak has been such a supportive and caring community for my family so I hope to be part of helping it do that for others.
