Introducing Sayde Anderson (Oak Church Resident Artist)

Congregational liaison Alexandra Burchette introduces one of the 2020-21 Brehm Center Resident Artists.

Sayde Anderson is from Denver, Colorado – home to the invention of the cheeseburger.  I moved to Durham in 2020 for the community and have been loving it so far.  I live with my best friend from college, and my favorite place to hang out in Durham is the Duke Gardens when it opens back up.

One random fact that you should know about me is I am out to find the best breakfast biscuit sandwich in town.  When I’m not at Oak Church’s zoom service (the only gathering I’ve been to 🙂 ), I love to hike, bike, and garden.  If you’d like to talk about art and faith, natural dyes and gardening, soup and tea, then I’m your gal.
