Elder Team Member (Class of 2028)
I am from the Charlotte area, by way of Frankfurt, Germany, Kileen, Texas, and a few other stops as I grew up an Army brat. I moved to Durham in 2011 after graduating from UNC Chapel Hill and have been here ever since. I live with my wife Hannah and our Great Pyrenees Maddie, and my favorite place to hang out in Durham is Beer Study with Hannah, Maddie, and/or an assortment of friends. One random fact that you should know about me is that like Chris Breslin I’m a Tampa Bay Buccaneer fan in Panthers territory, in part due to a brief stint in Florida during my childhood travels, and my 20+ years of fandom paid off in taking the Super Bowl trophy shown here (shoutout to Chris and Rachel Breslin for the connection!).
When I’m not at/in Oak Church’s worship team or Oak Guys’ Night hangs, I love to play music, shop for vinyl records, and enjoy sci-fi and fantasy novels.
