I am from Ellicott City, MD, the home of the oldest surviving train station in the country. I moved to Durham in 2017 for work (and to live in a place that was a better fit for our family) and we have been here ever since. I live with my husband Courtney, our son Hugo, and our dog Molly, and my favorite place to hang out in Durham is at the Eno River or Falls Lake. One random fact that you should know about me is that I’m a huge fan of bird watching, and I have a growing bird list that currently has 130 identified species.

When I’m not spending time with my community from Oak Church, I love to dig for treasures at local thrift stores, go hiking, and work in my native plant garden at home. If you’d like to talk about ways to protect our planet or connect to service opportunities in Durham, then I’m your person.
