I am from Matthews, NC, the home of the Harris Teeter Headquarters.  I moved to Durham in 2012ish for an experience of community life in Walltown and have been here ever since. I live with my wife Anna, and my favorite place to hang out in Durham is any quiet place outside with Anna and/or close friends.

One random fact that you should know about me is that I used to take my coffee with cream, and I would credit Chris Breslin for helping me to stop, for which I am grateful. When I’m not at/in Oak Church’s potlucks, I love to walk outside, have vulnerable/philosophical/serious/foolish talks with friends, and consume baked goods. If you’d like to talk about Communion, how one’s faith changes over time, or what constitutes worship, then I’m your person. Also I make things out of clay.
