Elder Team Chairperson
I am from Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, the home of the Fuquay Mineral Springs. Back in the day people would travel from near and far to visit the Springs. I moved to Durham in 2018 for my husband’s job and have been here ever since. I live with my husband Allen, our boys, Shepherd and Solomon and our Aussiedoodle Mollie, and my favorite place to hang out in Durham is at our home with my family, friends, or neighbors.
One random fact that you should know about me is that I used to slalom water ski competitively. I wasn’t the best, but I sure loved it. When I’m not at Oak Church helping out with Oak Kids or enjoying a service, I love to plan, read books to my boys, and work on whatever craft project I have going on. If you’d like to talk about spiritual disciplines, parenting, or literally anything, then I’m your person.
